According to the ancient collective wisdom of the sages and seers of yore, God principle is described as Eternal (everlasting with no beginning or end), Transcendental (beyond sensory perception), Absolute (beyond measure, decay or decline) and Immanent (Indweller like butter in milk or fire in wood). Many of us who had been fortunate enough to experience the boundless love and infinite grace of Sri Sathya Sai Baba are still trying to come to terms with not having his physical presence amidst us to reassure, guard and guide us through ups and downs of life. Swami speaking on the occasion of Guru Purnima in 2003 at Prashanthi Nilayam made this bold and prophetic declaration ”I am not the Deha (body); I am the Dehi (Indweller). The body is made up of five elements and is bound to perish sooner or later, but the Indweller has neither birth nor death. The Indweller has no attachment whatsoever and is the eternal witness. Truly speaking, the Indweller, who is in the form of the Atma, is verily God Himself.”

It is with great sadness and deep sorrow, we inform you that our beloved Swami, Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has left his mortal coil on Easter Sunday 24th April 2011 at 7:40 am at the Sathya Sai Super Speciality Hospital at Puttaparthi in India.
Even though he may not be with us in his physical frame, he will continue to guide us in realising our innate divine nature, the Atmic Principlewhich unites us with everyone and everything else in this universe.
Sri Sathya Sai Baba was born as Sathyanarayana Raju on November 23, 1926 in the village of Puttaparthi, in the state of Andhra Pradesh in South India. Even as a child, His spiritual inclination and contemplative nature set Him apart from other children of His age.
